Crystal Lake… State Representative Allen Skillicorn will be suspending in office visits to his Crystal Lake district office at 3:00 P.M. today. The office will remain active during normal business hours to provide information and assistance to constituents however staff may be operating remotely.
Rep. Skillicorn said, “With the unprecedented closures of schools, restaurants, and large gatherings, I want to ensure the safety of all residents of the 66th District and best protect constituents and district staff. My staff and I will be available through phone and email to ensure that the most accurate information is distributed in a timely manner and to assist all constituents in any way we can.”
“I understand that the confusion and severity of this situation can cause many frustrations for our daily lives, and I am committed to doing everything in my power to make sure we all get through this together,” said Rep. Skillicorn.
“My office stands ready to offer assistance with programs and resources to help struggling businesses and employees that may be out of work. We are committed to doing whatever we can to be a resource during these troubling times,” said Skillicorn. “Mitigating risk, and taking the most prudent actions are going to cause disruptions in our normal lives. For some of us, that will mean a minor inconvenience as we change our plans for the next few weeks, but for others, it is going to be much more significant.”
